Chalet Whymper is perfectly placed for both skiing and mountaineering in the lovely village of st gervais. The chalet is 1km from the main lifts and only 25minutes to Chamonix for those who wish a day out in a more challenging environment.

This beautiful modern chalet has been designed with every comfort in mind, 4 spacious bedrooms with individual bathrooms, a large and stylish living room with an open fire to relax by after your days activities on the mountains.
There is a large south facing terrace for the sun worshipers and garden for the younger members of the group to run around in.

The chalet is equipped with a wireless network for those of you who wish to work or play, a DVD player and a selection of films. Downstairs there are heated boot warmers, ski racks and drying area.

Megève

The Resort

For those in the know, Megève is the hidden gem of the French Alps. It is as a beautiful French Ski resort should be: atmospheric, great skiing, sublime restaurants and stunning scenery. Unlike a lot of French resorts, Megève has managed to retain its charming atmosphere.

For many years Megève has played host to Europe's elite and it is not hard to see why. With immaculately groomed pistes serviced snow making on major runs back to the resort, Megève has something for every ability level.

Just an hour's transfer from Geneva Airport and you can be relaxing next to a log fire within 4 hours of leaving the office. Unusually for a French resort, businesses here pride themselves on their polite service and efficient manner.

We have never known anyone to be disappointed after visiting Megève. On the contrary, once visited, many people find it hard to leave and become devotees of the resort, returning each year.

Of course, if you do not feel up to walking around the picturesque town you can always hire a horse drawn "Calèche" to transport you. These act not only as a taxi service but are also available for tours of the town for the incurable romantics amongst you.
